Following the release of the Good Beer Guide 2025 last week, let's take a look back at the three pubs named the best in Wyre Forest this year.

A total of 14 pubs across the district were amongst the 4,500 best in the UK that were recognised by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) in the UK's best-selling beer and pub guide.

The Wyre Forest CAMRA branch previously revealed its gold, silver and bronze award-winning pubs this year with some also having county success.

Here are the gold, silver and bronze Pub of the Year 2024 winners:

Gold: Bewdley Brewery Tap

Bewdley Brewery Tap has been named gold Pub of the Year 2024 with the pub described by CAMRA as an "integral part of Bewdley Brewery".

The pub has been praised for its development over the past 16 years which has seen it develop into a well-loved and high-quality establishment.

The team also took home a silver award in the county rounds of the competition.

Rob Budworth, branch chair for Wyre Forest CAMRA, said: "I'm delighted to present our annual gold award to Bewdley Brewery Tap.

"It's an integral part of Bewdley Brewery which has developed over the past 16 years into the well-run and well-loved enterprise we see today.

"The combination of high-quality real ales served in a lovely building with a warm and friendly atmosphere has proved irresistible to both local people and visitors."

At the time of accepting the award, bar manager Ian Mercer said: "It's a pleasure to accept this special award in recognition for our hard work.

"I give thanks to the brewery and bar staff and a special thanks to our customers. The Brewery Tap is a unique and fantastic place.

"This award will help us grow and keep the ale flowing."
