Another fast-food outlet will result in more litter and not only locally on the car park.

To say nothing of the extra traffic created.

Has anyone noticed the traffic jams caused by the existing McDonald’s?

Oh and will parking be free whilst waiting for food?

Also the state of the car park is horrendous in places with large potholes being a hazard, having the potential to cause damage to vehicles and injury to pedestrians.

My wife had a fall a few months ago which necessitated an ambulance call-out.

I applaud the new jobs created but these will be low wage and probably zero-hours contracts.

If so do we really need them?

I predict that there will be caveats imposed by our Wyre Forest District Council planning department, for example KFC will promise to employ a dedicated litter collector to patrol the car park.

This will last about six months and then be forgotten.

McDonald’s in Halesowen was exactly the same several years ago and litter was strewn across local estates and roads.
