A PLAN has been lodged to demolish a derelict pub in Kidderminster to make way for a new convenience store.
SEP Properties Limited has submitted a planning application seeking to bulldoze the Broadwaters Inn and build a new Sainsbury's shop with parking.
Access to the proposed new shop would be accessed via Chapel Hill. A previous planning application to demolish the pub and build a new shop and two apartments was approved back in August 2021.
But a new plan has been submitted to reflect changes to the scheme.
The former pub has fallen into a state of disrepair in recent years following its closure some years ago.
It was recently visited by Youtuber Urban Exploring UK, who shared footage of the derelict state of the pub on their social media channels.
People can view the new planning application by searching 24/0639/FUL on the Wyre Forest District Council planning website.
