POLICE are investigating reports of a car key burglary that took place in the early hours of this morning (Monday) in Kidderminster.

A Mini Cooper was stolen from Barnetts Close, PCSO Kate Easthope, of the Kidderminster East and North Safer Neighbourhood Team, said in a neighbourhood alert.

She said: “A property was entered by breaking a lock and smashing a glass door.

“A white Mini Cooper was stolen with keys, and damage was caused to another car on the driveway as the offenders fled the scene.

“We want to reassure residents we are doing everything we can to trace those responsible.”
