A set of traffic lights causing "mayhem" in Kidderminster are set to remain in place until the end of the week.
The temporary lights, which are in place near KFC on Stourport Road, are in place for Cadent to carry out emergency gas repair work.
According to the Worcestershire County Council website, there is a valid permit in place until Friday (October 4).
A description of the works on the county council website said: "Cadent are carrying out Emergency gas repair works. These repairs can take time to resolve, but this is to ensure that we continue to provide the safest and most reliable service to our customers."
A number of drivers have reported delays in the area and tailbacks with some saying traffic was "mayhem" and at a "standstill" during peak travel times.
Drivers are being advised to plan ahead of any journeys to avoid delays.
