A ROCK legend has wrapped up shooting a brand new music video at a popular Kidderminster venue.
Don Powell, known for being the original drummer of the iconic Black Country glam band Slade, performed to an audience at 45 Live with his band this week as part of the shoot.
The Don Powell Band has recorded a new single in tribute to late drumming legend Cozy Powell, using the drummer's chrome Yamaha drum kit, which was used during the video shoot.
The Don Powell Band also features singer and guitarist Steve Whalley, guitarist and bassist Craig Fenney, and keyboard player Jon Bates.
In a message to fans on Facebook after the 45 Live event on Monday (September 30), Don said: "We just want to say a big thank you for last night at 45 Live. You were absolutely fantastic and we can't wait to see the actual finished thing".
The track will be released in early 2025.
The band previously recorded a cover of The Knack’s My Sharona and released a music video that was filmed at the Kidderminster venue last year.
