SIXTH form courses and opportunities are being showcased at Kidderminster’s Baxter College, the 2023 Worcestershire Secondary School of the Year.
The school’s sixth form - known as BC6 – is opening its doors on Thursday October 10 to prospective students considering where to study after their GCSEs next September and their families.
Sessions at 5.30pm and 6.30pm will start with an address from the headteacher after which they will be able to tour the extensive site, bespoke sixth centre and view the wide range of courses and facilities.
The event is ticketed and places can be booked via Eventbrite.
Katie Beech, headteacher, said: “The Baxter Way is centred around supporting all our students to build bright futures, whether that is moving onto university or higher-level apprenticeships.
“Alongside a wide range of A-levels and BTECs, our sixth formers enjoy a variety of opportunities from leadership roles to expeditions abroad.”
