A Kidderminster law firm has donated more than £4,000 to a local charity.
Partners and support staff at Kidderminster’s mfg Solicitors held events throughout the past 12 months for Home-Start Wyre Forest.
The charity provides support and advice to struggling Wyre Forest parents who have young children.
The law firm’s fundraising events over the past year included a variety of quizzes, a football tournament, selling hampers, a 'bake off' competition, and a gruelling nine-mile Snowdon hike.
Lucy Harrold, a solicitor and CSR Committee member at mfg, said: "Once again everyone at our Kidderminster office has made a great contribution to our fundraising efforts.
"There has been a huge dedication to running some brilliant, fun events over the past 12 months and importantly, that has helped us to donate a great sum to Home-Start Wyre Forest.
"They do so much for local families and I’m sure our donation will help make a difference to many of those the charity helps every year."
Belinda Darby, from Home-Start Wyre Forest, added: "We rely on donations to keep offering our services to families in need across Wyre Forest.
"We are thrilled that the team at mfg Solicitors chose us as their office charity last year and they have made a huge effort through many events, including a high profile hike up Snowdon. We cannot thank them enough for their efforts and kindness."
Home-Start Wyre Forest has been delivering support to local families since 1995.
They support an average of 400 children across 200 families each year. Their services are available to any parent in the Wyre Forest who needs extra support and has a child under the age of 18.
