POLICE are investigating after a window was smashed at a Kidderminster church.

West Mercia Police have appealed to residents for witnesses after the criminal damage at St Barnabas Church on Wolverley Road.

On the force's neighbourhood matters website, PCSO Rebecca Ruston said: "The window was damaged between 15th and 17th September when unknown persons have thrown items at the window causing it to smash.

"No attempt was made to gain entry to the church.
