A MOTORCYCLIST was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash near Wolverley.
The crash happened at the junction of Sladd Lane and the B4189 and involved a motorbike and a van.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "Two ambulances were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found a motorbike and a van had been involved in a collision.
"The motorcyclist, a man, was treated for serious injuries and taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham".
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Police were called to Sladd Lane in Wolverley at around 8.20am this morning to a collision involving a motorbike and a van.
"The man riding the motorbike sustained serious injuries, not thought to be life threatening. The road was reopened shortly before 11am".
