Fire crews rushed to a street in Kidderminster over the weekend after a fence caught fire.
Two Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wyre Forest and Droitwich were called to a fire in the open on Greatfield Road at around 5.25pm on Saturday (October 5).
When the crews arrived, they found a fire involving a fence and wooden waste which were in close proximity to the house.
The fire was extinguished using a hose reel jet and no damage to the property was reported.
No other emergency services were needed at the scene and there were no casualties reported following the fire.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – one each from Wyre Forest and Droitwich Fire Stations – were called at 5.25pm on October 5 to a fire in the open in Greatfield Road, Kidderminster.
"A fire involving fencing and wooden waste in close proximity to a house was extinguished using a hose reel jet.
"There was no damage to the property. There were no casualties and no other emergency services were required. The incident was marked as pending closure at 6.23pm."
