A FORMER ambulance station in Kidderminster is set to go under the hammer.
The double-fronted building, that was formerly a long-established ambulance station, is coming up for sale in Bond Wolfe’s next auction.
The detached commercial property, at 197 Birmingham Road, will have a guide price of £295,000 in the livestreamed event on Thursday, October 24.
Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, explained that the freehold lot is in a prominent position fronting the southern side of the A456 Birmingham Road, close to Kidderminster town centre.
Mr Bassi said: “This vacant building occupies a generous site and is considered suitable for a variety of alternative uses, including offices, residential, medical, day nursery, educational or redevelopment, subject to any necessary planning permission
“The property, which was previously used as a long-established St John Ambulance depot, occupies a site of around 0.22 acres, with a secure surfaced car park and a range of outbuildings to the rear.”
197 Birmingham Road has eight rooms on the ground floor providing 904 sq ft of space, seven rooms on the first floor with another 732 sq ft, and then 936 sq ft in the rear outbuildings.
The former ambulance station is being sold in partnership with joint agents Rowley Hughes Thompson.
The property will be among 184 lots appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction which is due to start at 8.30am on Thursday 24 October.
