A road between Bromsgrove and Kidderminster has reopened after it was forced to close last week due to a burst water pipe.
Whitford Road was closed on Tuesday (October 8) after a water main burst along the road.
The emergency closure had been causing travel chaos in the area and affected the route between Timberhonger Lane and Kidderminster Road.
Traffic was trying to use Timberhonger Lane and Monsieurs Hall Lane as an alternative route but this led to cars getting stuck.
There was an official diversion route in place along Whitford Road, Fox Lane, Rock Hill, Worcester Road, Hanover Street, Kidderminster Road, Whitford Road and vice versa.
Relieved residents have now been informed that the road has reopened.
