Two kind-hearted youngsters from Bewdley are raising vital funds to help buy toys for children in hospital this Christmas.
George Andrews wanted to donate some of his toys to children who would benefit from them but quickly discovered it was not possible due to hygiene reasons.
The eight-year-old put on this thinking cap and devised a plan to organise events that would involve Pikachu and Chicken costumes to help raise funds for toys for Birmingham Children's Hospital.
Alongside his brother Alfie, aged 6, the pair have been out and about bringing happiness and fun to the community.
Their proud mum Tara Andrews said: "Children can have a great time and learn valuable lessons from fundraising which also helps them feel like they belong in their community and understand the true value of giving back to others.
"It is my hope that George and Alfie will get a deeper understanding of their ability to change the world."
The boys have had huge support from the community especially Merchants Chippy in Bewdley who have been following and supporting their efforts.
George hopes to organise a few events such as photo opportunities with Pikachu and children, litter picking, a tombola, a cupcake and toy sale, raffles and more.
The youngsters hope to raise more than £1,000 to help bring smiles to children's faces this Christmas.
The next event is set to take place on Saturday (October 26) and includes a walkabout in Bewdley town centre from 12pm until 2pm and a walkabout in Kidderminster town centre from 2pm until 4pm.
There will be photo opportunities and a small treat for every donation.
The brothers will also appear at The Watermill in Kidderminster at 12pm on Sunday (October 27).
