A Kidderminster-based indie rock band are set to launch their debut single this week with a launch event at 45 Live.
Tom South and The Lifeline have been playing gigs together for just under a year and have been influenced by bands such as Extreme, Nothing But Thieves and The Luka State.
The band are set to release their new single Up and Coming Years on Sunday (October 27) as part of a Halloween party event at 45 Live where they will "unleash a storm of original, guitar-driven anthems".
The event promises a night of "pure, unrelenting terror and rock 'n' roll madness with an eerie atmosphere, killer costumes and bone-crushing riffs".
Frontman Tom South said: "We've been playing gigs together for just under a year now, so we can't wait to finally release our debut single, Up and Coming Years.
"It's about the struggle of realising that you aren't a kid anymore. It represents being overwhelmed with having to move on from events and times that you aren't quite ready to let go of yet."
The band will be supported by White Noise Cinema who hail from the West Midlands and have been honing their unique blend of electronica and alternative guitar music for nearly half a decade.
They will also be joined by Cambridge's Oli Harris, an emerging young artist in the alternative and indie music scene who has secured coveted spots on BBC Introducing and is known for his captivating lyrics and distinctive voice.
