A KIDDERMINSTER woman was perplexed after seeing a trail of lights in the night sky.
Kimberley Murfin shared a photo of the lights on social media to find out what they were on Saturday night (October 19).
She said: "It was just very weird how it went up straight and then fanned out".
Social media users responded by saying it was 'Starlink satellites' that are visible when they pass over at low orbit.
The satellites are part of a scheme by tech entrepreneur Elon Musk’s SpaceX company, launched with the aim of improving global internet coverage.
Thousands of satellites have been launched so far, with the network eventually set to reach 12,000, rising to as many as 42,000 in the future.
