A popular hair salon in Kidderminster is set to celebrate 90 years of trading in the town.
Harpers Hair Salon, which is located on Prospect Hill, was founded by John Harper in 1934 and has continued to be a much-loved family business for nine decades.
The shop was passed down to Mr Harper's son John at the age of 17 and he later ran the shop alongside his brother James Harper.
James retired in 2022 with John continuing to work in the salon until just 12 weeks before he died of lung cancer.
The salon has since been passed down to his children Leeanne and Callum Harper who run the business with their mum.
Manager Leeanne Harper said: "It's been a privilege to be part of this family business. Our staff have been extremely loyal over the years with many staying with us for more than 20 years.
"We really wouldn't be where we are today without them."
To mark the shop's 90th birthday, the team will be 'paying it forward' throughout the week from Monday (October 28) to Saturday (November 2).
Ms Harper said: "A selection of clients will receive a gift which we would love for them to pay it forward by doing something kind for someone else."
All clients will also receive double loyalty stamps and ear piercing offers.
When purchasing the salon's products, clients will also be entered into a competition with complementary drinks set to be on offer on Friday and Saturday.
Ms Harper added: "We hope to see all our long standing and new customers celebrate this huge milestone for Harpers Hair Salon.
"Our customers are the reason why we have the opportunity to celebrate this 90th year as it's thanks to their repeat custom. We are all so grateful."
