Part of a main road in Kidderminster is set to be closed this weekend for repair work.

According to the Worcestershire County Council website, the A456 Coventry Street will be closed from its junction with Radford Avenue to its junction with the A456 Coventry Street roundabout.

The closure is set to be in place from Saturday (October 26) for remedial work by Severn Trent Water.

There is a valid permit in place until Sunday (October 27).

The work description said the closure is needed to remove and relay a sunken surface.

Emergency access is set to be maintained at all times.

There is a diversion in place via Coventry Street, Birmingham Road, Chester Road North, Comberton Road, Comberton Hill, Worcester Cross Ringway and vice versa.
