DONATIONS from a new calendar will be going to a Wyre Forest charity.
Stourport Photo Centre and the We Love Stourport on Severn Past and Present Day Facebook page have combined to produce the Stourport on Severn 2025 Calendar.
The initiative will be supporting Kidderminster’s KEMP Hospice which covers Wyre Forest.
The photo centre business manager Richard Rodgers said: “There are three sizes on offer — 8x12 and 6x9 hanging calendars and a 6x4 desk calendar.
“We have been working with Lisa (Cooper) from the We Love Stourport on Severn Past and Present Facebook page since 2015 when she ran a Facebook competition for images to go into a 2016 calendar.
"The rest is history as they say.
"A donation from each calendar sold goes to KEMP Hospice which they are always very grateful for.
“The calendars are always popular and get sent all over the world.”
In spring this year the Past and Present Day Facebook page, which boasts around 26,000 followers, held an online photography competition as a way to generate funds for the hospice.
Entrants had the chance to see their photographs featured in the calendar which is now in print and available to buy from the centre in the High Street.
The Kidderminster-based hospice offers specialist care and support to patients, families and carers who are dealing with life-limiting illness and bereavement.
To order one of the calendars which cost £10, £7.50 and £5, call the centre on 01299 827813 or pop into the shop.
