Police have launched an appeal following an attempted burglary in Kidderminster.
West Mercia Police said a resident was awoken by the noise of someone trying to get through their front door on Borrington Road.
The incident happened at around 1.40am on Thursday (October 24) but the offender was disturbed by the homeowner and stolen an item from the driveway as they made their escape.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing to residents of Borrington Road, Kidderminster for information following an attempted burglary at a home in this location.
"Did you see anything suspicious or have any information that might help enquiries?
"Please get in touch with us by calling 101 and quoting incident number 00230_I_26102024."
