Several Worcestershire roads are set to close in the coming weeks due to necessary maintenance and utility works.

Bromwich Road will shut for footway reconstruction, with the closure until Saturday, November 2.

Solent Road will be closed until Friday, November 1 for the installation of a dropped kerb.

The closure affects the section from Humber Road to Dart Road, with a diversion through part of Solent Road, Trent Road, Newtown Road, and Humber Road.

Old Malvern Road in Powick will close for 19 days starting until Saturday, November 16 for the replacement of a gas main by Cadent Gas.

The closure will affect the road from its junction with A449 Malvern Road to The Drive.

Eastbound traffic will be diverted via Malvern Road and Old Malvern Road, while westbound traffic will be diverted via The Drive, Colletts Green Road, Sparrowhall Lane, and Malvern Road.

Dorothy Crescent will close for four days Friday, November 1 for the installation of a dropped kerb for a new vehicle crossing.

The closure will span from its junction with Collin Road for 47 metres south, with an alternative route via Collin Road and part of Dorothy Crescent.

Longley Green in Suckley will be closed until Friday, November 1 for utility work by Severn Trent Water.

The closure will affect the section from its junction with Suckley to its junction with C1140 Suckley.

A diversion will be in place via Malvern Hills Boundary to Longley Green, Suckley, Crews Hill, Workhouse Bank, Alfrick, Alfrick Pound, Longley Green to Stocks Lane, Alfrick, and part of Longley Green.
