EVER since Wilko closed its doors to shoppers in Kidderminster, students show now even more disregard to the general public and absolutely no respect for the area outside the college entrance.
I have noticed that in break times there is a gathering of the clans.
They are loud, stand around and are intimidating.
They discard litter and drink cans.
They gather in the entrance of what was Wilko and sit around playing loud music, shouting and screaming at one another.
They are adding to the already-awful image that is now Kidderminster town.
Is it not obvious to the heads of the college or even the police who are supposed to be patrolling with the intention to stop littering, drinking alcohol on the streets and riding of bikes and electric scooters to do something about this?
There is also a problem on the seating areas outside the Halifax and Lloyds banks with people drinking alcohol and getting vocal — is this not an alcohol-free zone?
All this creates an undesirable look for visitors and shoppers alike.
I see every time I go into town these issues which are being flaunted and nothing is done about them.
Many decent shoppers and older folk use both these areas mentioned.
They need cleaning up and the laws enforcing.
Please can some person or office in authority do something about this?
