A lifelong baking enthusiast has officially opened her dream dessert shop in the Horsefair.
Jenny Clarke hopes to create a safe space for families to come together and enjoy a sweet treat at her new shop Pink Tiger.
The dessert shop, which is located on Blackwell Street, opened its doors earlier this month and is set to sell a variety of milkshakes, bubble waffles, ice creams, cake tins and more.
Ms Clarke, who also works as a close protection officer, said: "I've always loved baking and it's been a lifelong dream to open my own shop. The opportunity came up to buy the lease and take on all the equipment, so it was an offer I just couldn't ignore.
"I want the shop to have a family feel and for kids to feel free to pop in after school and grab an ice cream with their families.
"I have lived in Kidderminster my whole life, so it means a lot to me to be able to make treats to share with my local community."
There were plenty of smiling faces at the shop's launch event where Ms Clarke handed out free ice creams in a bid to promote the new business to the town.
Ms Clarke has had a lot of support from her family and friends with her daughter designing the artwork for the shop.
The 43-year-old has since thanked the community for their ongoing positivity and support.
She said: "There was a lot of excitement in the lead-up to the grand opening. People kept asking when we were officially opening and the messages we have had so far have been so positive.
"My daughter has been helping out a lot in the new shop with serving and has done all the artwork. It is very pink and we absolutely love it.
"The free ice cream at our opening went down a storm and it was lovely to see so many new faces. I just want to say that we are so happy to be part of the Horsefair and to help create an inclusive space where everyone is welcome."
Pink Tiger is open for walk-ins and orders can also be made via telephone.
The shop is open on Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm until 9pm, Friday from 3pm until 10pm, Saturday from 12pm until 10pm and Sunday from 12pm until 6pm.
