EARLY years children at a Stourport school are learning about science through water play, thanks to a Tesco grant.
St Bartholomew’s CE Primary School has invested £500 in a water activity station and water channelling wall to take centre stage in its outdoor play and learn area.
The funding came from the supermarket’s Stronger Starts programme in which customers vote on a variety of local school and community projects.
Teacher and nursery lead Nik Furnival said: “We are so grateful to Tesco for the finance which will help boost the imagination, problem solving and critical thinking of our nursery and reception children and help them to develop life skills such as team work and sharing.”
