TWO charities have teamed up to hold a craft fayre in Kidderminster.
The idea came about after Heidi Scott, from SM Lawson Solicitors started to volunteer her time, expertise and equipment once a month with Our Way Self Advocacy, a charity which supports people with learning disabilities, who have been holding free craft sessions with their members.
The charity approached KDYT (Kidderminster & District Youth Trust) and together they will hold a Craft Fayre at Kidderminster Youth House on Saturday, November 30 between 11am and 2pm.
The event has been supported by local businesses such as The Bakers Café, who support and have named KDYT as their chosen charity.
The event has already attracted over 20 local crafters and it is hoped that if it is a success it will become an annual event.
