A concert has raised more than £650 for this year’s Poppy Appeal.
The event, held in Cleobury Mortimer, aimed to support the annual fundraising initiative by the Royal British Legion.
Cleobury Mortimer Royal British Legion held the Poppy Concert in the Parish Hall on Saturday (October 26), with members and friends gathering for the evening.

The Koswecans Ukulele Band, regulars in Cleobury, entertained the audience with a wide range of songs from their repertoire.
Lead singer Barrie Taylor, of the nine-piece band, engaged the audience with his lively performance, waiting eagerly for the arrival of the fish and chips during the first half of the show.
The evening was not just about fun and music, as it also had a serious purpose - raising funds for the appeal.
The fish and chip suppers, provided by Mimi’s Plaice, were enjoyed during the interval, alongside the drawing of the raffle and refreshments from the Parish Hall Committee-run bar.
The Cleobury Mortimer Royal British Legion also held an Annual Harvest Auction earlier in October, featuring a variety of products and services from the area.
The auction, which lasted two hours, saw David Taylor busy finding buyers for more than a hundred lots, raising over £1,000 for branch funds.
The branch has planned a Remembrance Parade on Sunday, November 10, and an Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at 11am on Monday, November 11.
The main road through the town, the A4117, will be shut for the parade.
