GENEROUS Rotarians poured more than 3,000 drinks and baked 1,000 sausage rolls and savouries for the hardworking DIY SOS crew in Bewdley.
The popular BBC show has been filming in the town, with workers from across the Wyre Forest and beyond lending a hand to help transform the lives of a local family.
Bewdley Rotary Club member Graham Bullock, and his wife Judith, volunteered his driveway for the location of the refreshment tent.
Rotary members turned out each day to serve thousands of cups of tea, coffee and other drinks to the skilled volunteers and the TV production staff.
Morrisons supermarket supplied snacks, with cakes and pastries provided by Mrs Bullock and her neighbours.
Mr Bullock, aged 75, said it was a "fantastic experience" to help out during the eight-day project. They opened the tent from 7am to 6pm each day. They wrapped up at 10.45pm on Wednesday (October 30).
Mr Bullock was able to grab a photo with the show's presenter Nick Knowles.
He said: "We have poured over 3,000 drinks baked 1,000 sausage rolls and savouries and 800 pieces of cake.
"Many of the neighbours delivered cake and Jackie produced an endless supply of breakfast muffins.
"Morrisons in Kidderminster did a sterling job providing over £500 of supplies and some very hardworking staff. All this was very much appreciated by the workers and crew.
"We would like to thank neighbours friends and Bewdley Rotary Club for their support.
"Then finally we made 250 cakes and biscuits for after the reveal.
"The whole experience was hard work and enjoyable and we met some lovely people who had given their time and expertise to the project".
