The town council has officially announced plans for the much-loved Christmas light switch-on event and parade in Stourport.

Everyone is invited to join the festive celebrations at the Three Kings Parade on Friday, November 22.

The parade is set to be led by children from St Bartholomew's Primary School and Astley CofE Primary School.

The event will start at 6pm from the car park off Martins Way and circle around the town centre streets before briefly stopping at the Villeneuve-le-Roi Gardens.

The parade will then return to the Civic Centre for the switch-on and fireworks display at 7.20pm.
