A CYCLIST was taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries after an incident at Kingsford Forest Park next to Kinver Edge.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, paramedic officer and its Hazardous Area Response Team to the South Staffordshire beauty spot, off Kingsford Lane, just before midday on Sunday (November 3).
A cyclist, a man, was found with potentially serious injuries and he was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital in Worcester.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to a collision involving a cyclist at Kingsford Forest Park, Wolverley, at 11.54am on Sunday November 3.
“We sent an ambulance, a paramedic officer and our Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene.
“On arrival crews found a man who was assessed and had sustained potentially serious injuries.
“He received treatment from ambulance staff at the scene before being conveyed to Worcester Royal Hospital.”
