A NEW artisan market will be held later this week showcasing local artists and produce.
The event is being organised by Ellie Hooper and Sonia Lloyd will be held at Bewdley Rowing Club.
More than 20 stalls will offer local produce and gifts ranging from cheese, cakes and cider to embroidery, Italian olive oil and original artworks.
The Bewdley’s Artisan Market follows a long tradition of top quality markets in Bewdley and this will add another attraction to the riverside town.
To be held quarterly, this first one will be officially opened at 9.30am on November 8 by the town Mayor, councillor Ian Latimer.
Ellie Hooper said: "The Market offers a perfect opportunity to start shopping for Christmas gifts while also supporting local businesses.
Sonia added: "Bewdley and the surrounding areas have a wealth of local talent which will be showcased at this unique event.’
The market will be open until 4pm and will also offer coffee, cakes, snacks and live music.
