Police have launched an appeal after a burglary in Kidderminster.
West Mercia Police said the offender or offenders have forced entry via the rear door of a property on Stonechat Close.
The house alarm was activated and the offenders left without taking any items from the property.
The incident happened at around 4.25am on Friday (November 8) and officers said they believe car keys were the target.
Officers are now appealing for information about the burglary and are urging those who saw or heard anything suspicious to get in touch with the police.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We are investigating a burglary on Stonechat Close, Spennells and we want to reassure residents we are doing everything we can to trace those responsible.
"If you’ve seen anything suspicious or have information that might help with enquires, please call 101 quoting reference 00032_I_08112024."
