Secondary school students were left feeling "inspired" thanks to a successful careers fair held in Kidderminster.
Senior students at Holy Trinity School were able to explore and discuss their future career paths as they heard from a diverse array of local businesses and organisations.
Some of the businesses at the careers event included Harlow Timber, Taylor Wimpey Outreach, Armstrong Fluid Technology, SGM Music Group, Waldrons Solicitors, Eden Hotels, Community Housing, Police, Kidderminster College and representatives from West Midlands Careers, WEBP and recruitment and apprenticeship advisors.
Careers fairs are extremely valuable in providing students with direct access to potential employers as well as insights into different industries and professions.
They offer a platform for students to ask questions, seek advice and gain a clearer understanding of the skills and qualifications required for different career paths.
They also enable students to network with professionals, which can lead to work placements, internships and even future employment opportunities.
The school said the students were left feeling "inspired" and full of ideas and praised the careers event as a huge success.
Assistant headteacher Tamsin Fisher said: "Our careers fair was a great success and included several local employers.
"It was highly rewarding to observe students actively engaged and involved, inspired and full of ideas about their future aspirations."
