Multi-way lights are set to be in place for five days on a busy main road between Kidderminster and Bromsgrove.
According to the Worcestershire County Council website, the A448 Kidderminster Road will be under traffic controls at the Perryfields Road junction from today (Monday, November 18).
There is a valid permit in place until Friday (November 22).
The multi-way lights are needed to facilitate utility work by Cadent Gas.
A description of the work said: "We're carrying out important maintenance works on our equipment, this activity ensures that we can continue to provide a safe and reliable gas supply to local businesses and residents."
Delays are likely in the area whilst the work is being carried out so drivers are advised to plan ahead of any journeys.
The footway will be closed throughout the duration of the work but a pedestrian walkway will be provided.
