SEVERAL schools across Wyre Forest are closed as snow sweeps across the county this morning (Tuesday, November 19).
Here is a list of schools that are closed today:
- Bayton CE Primary School - Bewdley
- Far Forest Lea Memorial CE Primary Academy & Nursery - Bewdley
- St Bartholomew's CE Primary School - Stourport
- Stourport High School
Announcing the closure on Facebook, a spokesperson for Stourport High School said: "We have made the regrettable decision to close the school today as the site has been deemed unsafe. It's never an easy decision to close the school, but we put the safety of students and staff as our highest priority.
"Teachers are working hard to ensure that all lessons go online and that the impact to learning is minimal. Students should be checking their Google Classrooms throughout the school day".
