Staff have been left "heartbroken" after their shop windows were smashed by heartless vandals.
The team at Geek Retreat on Worcester Street said the vandalism will not "define them" after they arrived to find the front door completely destroyed.
The store was targeted yesterday morning (Monday, November 18) with staff saying it was devastating to see the inclusive community space treated with such disregard.
The team at Geek Retreat said: "Yesterday morning, we arrived at the store to find it vandalised. It’s heartbreaking to see a space that’s been built for community, inclusivity, and enjoyment treated this way.
"We’ve always believed that Geek Retreat Kidderminster is more than just a store - it’s a safe place where everyone belongs.
"But this act of vandalism won’t define us."
Geek Retreat, which is a retailer, gaming café and events hub, has asked for support from the community after the vandalism including by dropping by the store, spreading the word for what they stand for and have to offer, introducing a friend or playing a game.
The staff have also thanked the community for the positive reaction and messages of support following the damage to the shop and said it "means the world".
The team added: "Together, we can send a clear message that acts of vandalism won’t break us, they’ll only make us stronger.
"Thank you for standing with us. Your support means the world.
"We're overwhelmed by the amazing support of Kidderminster town centre for standing up against vandalism. We're really hoping the community continues to support the shop by joining for a game, referring a friend or attending future events."
The incident has been reported to West Mercia Police who said their enquiries are still ongoing.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We received a call around 10am on Monday (November) with a report of a burglary at a retail property on Worcester Street in Kidderminster.
"Enquiries are now on going."
