Residents have captured stunning images of the snow that fell across North Worcestershire.

Sub zero temperatures overnight caused heavy snowfall to hit parts of Wyre Forest, Redditch and Bromsgrove today (Tuesday, November 19).

The snow led to travel disruption with the police issuing a warning to drivers to take care on the roads.

Many businesses took to social media to remind residents that they were still open with the community taking to social media to share their delight at the wintery scenes on display.

The yellow warning from the Met Office for England has now been lifted but the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued an amber cold weather health alert that is expected to last until 6pm on Saturday (November 23).

The first alert of the season has warned that conditions could be dangerous for vulnerable people, including the elderly.
