A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a two-car collision in Kidderminster.
Three people were rushed to hospital with "serious injuries" after the crash at the junction of the A451 Stourport Road and Walter Nash Road shortly before 10pm on Monday (November 18).
Three ambulances, three paramedic officers and a BASICS emergency doctor were sent to the scene.
A fourth patient, a woman, was assessed before being discharged at the scene by ambulance staff.
In an update today (Wednesday, November 20), West Mercia Police have confirmed that a 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of drugs.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Officers were called to a two-vehicle collision on the A451, Stourport Road in Kidderminster at around 9.50pm on Monday (November 18).
"Three people were taken to hospital with minor and serious injuries, not deemed to be life-threatening.
"A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of drugs."
