A number of road closures have been announced for the Christmas light switch-on event and parade in Stourport.
The annual Three Kings Parade is returning on Friday (November 22) and will be led by children from St Bartholomew's Primary School and Astley CofE Primary School.
In preparation for the parade, Stourport Town Council has informed residents about a number of road closures that will be in place between 5.50pm and 8pm.
The road closures were agreed in consultation between Wyre Forest District Council, West Mercia Police and Worcestershire County Council.
The road closures include:
- Martins Way from Severn Meadows No. 1 car park onto Martins Way to New Street (both directions)
- New Street from Martins Way up to High Street
- Bridge Street from Bridge Street to High Street (both directions)
- High Street from High Street to the junction of Mitton Street (both directions)
- Junction of Mitton Street from Mitton Street junction to Lion Hill (one-way)
- Lion Hill from Lion Hill to York Street (one-way)
- York Street from York Street to High Street junction (one-way)
- High Street junction from High Street junction to New Street
- New Street from New Street to Moorhall Lane
- New Street from New Street to Martins Way
