A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving in Stourport.
West Mercia Police were called by a member of the public to a report of a driver who they thought may be driving under the influence of alcohol on Severn Road.
Officers then stopped the vehicle and breathalysed the driver, who was found to be over the drink drive limit.
A spokesperson from West Mercia Police said: “Thank you to the member of the public that rang police and raised their concerns.
“If you believe someone is driving whilst under the influence of drugs/alcohol please contact police.”
The woman who was driving the car has been taken into custody whilst police investigate the incident.
