THE Christmas tree is now up in Bewdley town centre ahead of the light-switch on event this Saturday (November 30).
The Rotary Club of Bewdley have been supplying the town's Christmas tree For over 27 years.
Club president Tony Smith said the club was pleased to be able to support the town and the people of Bewdley.
He said the club could not do this on their own and are grateful for the support of TG Hardwick from Wolverley who supplied the transport with a crane to lift the tree into position.
On the website, Bewdley Town Council said visitors can expect street entertainers, artisan food and drink, funfair rides, Santa's Grotto, singing acts and DJ entertainment, a vintage carousel and more at the upcoming Christmas lights switch on and market.
They said: "Stilt walkers, jugglers and segwaying Nutcrackers. Be entertained by their antics around the town.
"A vintage carousel will be a spinning delight for younger children while the family can enter into the human snow globe for fun snowy frolics."
The event will take place from 1pm until 6pm with the countdown to the light switch-on at 5.30pm.
A free park and ride will take you straight into the town centre with free parking at The Running Horse and The Bewdley School.
Guests can also leave the car in Kidderminster and hop aboard a special heritage train along the Severn Valley Railway to Bewdley Station.
The train departs at 1.45pm, 3.45pm and 4.45pm for £5 per person returning from Bewdley at 6.45pm and 7.30pm.
Train tickets can be purchased from Kidderminster Station on the day.
