TWO youngsters from Kidderminster feature in the new critically acclaimed film adaptation of a beloved musical.
10-year-old Madison Davis and 14-year-old Joey Unitt from Kidderminster are starring as 'Munchkinland kids' in the recently released Wicked film directed by Jon Chu.
Madison has several acting credits under her belt including Lily in Christmas On Mistletoe Farm for Netflix, and Joey’s previous credits include Michael Banks in Marry Poppins in the West End and A Christmas Carol for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
The new Wicked film stars pop singer Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba.
Madison and Joey both hail from Kidderminster, and have both undertaken training with Stagebox, a musical theatre training and management provider, at its Birmingham base.
They are also managed by the in-house agency team, Stagebox Management, who have secured over 400 Stagebox students and alumni with major screen credits.
