A MAN has been arrested after a woman driver suffered serious injuries in a crash last night.
Police were called to a two-vehicle crash on the A448 Kidderminster Road in Dodford at around 7.35pm last night (Tuesday November 27).
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of alcohol, police said today (Wednesday November 27).
He had suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the other car, a woman, was treated for serious injuries, which are not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Officers were called to a two-vehicle collision.
"The driver of one vehicle was treated for serious injuries, which are not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
"One man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
"No other arrests have been made.
"Enquiries are on-going."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of an RTC at the junction of Berry Lane and the A448 in Dodford at 7.33pm.
"We sent three ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care car from Strensham to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found three patients, a man, who was the driver of one car and two women, who were in a second car.
"The women were both treated for potentially serious injuries.
"The man sustained minor injuries.
"All three were conveyed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital."
