A FATHER and son have appeared in court charged with a total of 19 drug-related offences between them.

The charges include conspiracy to produce a controlled class C drug as well as MDMA/ ecstasy.

Christopher Booton, aged 32, and Philip Booton, aged 58, both appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Thursday (November 28).

No pleas were entered as the case was sent to crown court. They will now appear at Worcester Crown Court on January 2, 2025. Christopher Booton was remanded and Phillip Booton has been bailed.

Christopher Booton, of Cleobury Road, Cleobury Mortimer, has been charged with four counts of being concerned in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on the importation of a class C drug, one count of being concerned in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on the importation of a class B drug, one count of conspiracy to produce MDMA / ecstasy, and six counts of conspiracy to produce a controlled drug of class C

Phillip Booton, also of Cleobury Road, Cleobury Mortimer, is charged with six counts of conspiracy to produce a controlled drug of class C and one count of conspiracy to produce MDMA / ecstasy.
