YESSSSS, it's back! July looks set to fly by thanks to ITV 4's top notch coverage of the Tour de France.
And this year it's got even better thanks to live coverage of each stage through the red button.
I almost feel like doing myself a mischief just to be able to lie on the Costa del Sofa and watch every glorious minute.
ITV's commentary team is strong throughout. Frontman Gary Imlach is a delight to listen to - I loved his quip last night about the green jersey being the same colour as sprint sensation Mark Cavendish's highlighter pen in his Tour de France pencil case while Paul Sherwin, Phil Liggett and 'Sir' Chris Boardman combine technical knowledge with fascinating facts. Ned Boulting's interviews are good too.
I also enjoy spotting places where I've been - like La Grande Motte, Nice and the wild, marshy Camargue.
On July 25, the stage ends in the picturesque town of Aubenas in Ardeche. It's where my mum's late penfriend Danielle and her family live so I'm looking forward to that one especially.
The highlights programme is on at 7pm every night so no excuses!
