MY five-month old daughter has taken quite a shine to Sky Sports News, which is brilliant for me, but the guilt of allowing her to watch television has started to hit me hard.
On a personal note, I think it's brilliant that she's already starting to enjoy one of her dad's favourite hobbies.
We get up bright and breezy in the mornings and while she eagerly guzzles her milk, we both enjoy the latest goings-on in the world of sport, thanks to those excitable people at Sky.
Realistically, Molly is probably more interested in the constant dramatic music to liven up a dull morning or the bright colours and rolling info-banners that Sky use so well. Come to think of it, those are exactly the reason why I watch the channel.
Worry not readers, my guilt at letting her watch television is balanced out by my wife's determination to undo the damage I am probably doing, by turning off the TV.
But the damage might already be done, I keep having dreams that her first words will be "It's been a dramatic morning at Totthenham Hottspur, where Harry Redknapp has described his squad a 'triffic'." - A worrying thought indeed.
For my part I am determined to make her first coherent utterance Gabby Agbonlahor, which is a tall order, but hey, you've got to aim high.
Leave Roy Keane alone
I can't believe I am writing this, because I am no fan of angry man Roy Keane, it's quite the opposite infact.
But I wish that the media will get off his back at Ipswich. Okay, it has not gone well and he's expected to throw his toys out of the pram (again) and walk out.
But any new manager needs time, even ones I don't like. So at least give him a season, maybe two, to see how he does.
