ELDERLY residents at sheltered housing in Kidderminster enjoyed afternoon tea and raised £184 for the Millbrook Suite.
A raffle and tombola was also held at Hornbeam House in Waterloo Road, organised by warden, Debbie Cutliffe.
She was inspired to organise the event after her friend contracted breast cancer and was treated at the Millbrook Suite.
She explained: “When she got breast cancer it gave me the awareness of what they do at the Millbrook.
“The residents had a lovely time and we are only a small scheme so to raise that amount of money was brilliant.”
