A BLACK and white-themed ball is set to boost the Millbrook Suite.
The event, at Kidderminster’s Gainsborough House Hotel on Saturday, July 3, includes a three-course dinner with wine.
Entertainment comes from Wyre Forest group Station Road, who perform songs by acts such as The Beatles, Spandau Ballet and Take That.
Local businesses are donating prizes for a charity raffle on the night.
This is the second year running that Jo Taylor has organised a ball, following the death of her husband from cancer 11 years ago at the age of 36.
Last year’s event was in aid of Cancer Research UK but this time all proceeds will go to the Millbrook Suite.
She said: “I wanted to give something back for all the help I received during his six months of illness.
“I decided on the Millbrook Suite as it is a little closer to home and if I myself or friends and family locally were unfortunate enough to get cancer, it stands a chance we would need the suite’s assistance in our care.”
