WIVES - ON June 8, the group had a guided tour of The Dower House Garden, Morville Hall, Shropshire.
This garden was designed by Dr Katherine Swift, a garden historian and writer. The garden aims to tell the story of different historical periods using authentic plants and construction techniques, old roses being a speciality.
This was followed by a pub meal at the Acton Arms, Morville.
The next group outing will be to Westons Cider, Much Marcle, plus supper, tonight. Anyone interested can contact Angela Barwise on 01299 871012.
The bottle stall held on June 24 was successful and raised £200 for the village hall.
The Arley Kings fete is being held on July 29 at Walshes Meadow. Any items for the fancy goods stall are welcome. Contact Audrey Daw on 01299 826041.
