TICKETS for this year's Bewdley Festival have been selling like hot cakes, with two popular events already sold out.
An Evening with Bill Bryson sold out by 11am after tickets went on general sale on Saturday last week and all the tickets for a concert by John Williams and John Etheridge had gone by 11.30am on Monday.
It is the first time organisers have sold all the tickets for two events in fewer than three days beating last year's record, when The Reduced Shakespeare Company sold out by 3pm on the first day.
This year's festival, which runs from October 6 to 14, will see stars including Roy Hudd descend on the town as well as entertainment for all ages. For further information, contact 01299 403355.
