A GIRL from Bayton took to the streets in her pyjamas - but it was not just eyebrows she raised, as she went back to bed having made more than £200 for Comic Relief.
Ella McCoshan, 11, of Tenbury High School strolled around Birmingham in her dressing gown, for four hours on Saturday, collecting donations in a bucket.
She said: "I wanted to help raise money for Red Nose Day so I decided to wear my pyjamas around Birmingham. This is because I thought it would catch people’s attention, was funny like the red noses and it was something lots of people wouldn't choose to do.
“I felt nervous and shy at first but I knew it was all for a good cause and I carried on for four hours. I am really happy with the amount of money I raised because it was loads more than I expected. It was great fun, it was a brilliant experience and I am really glad I was able to help."
